With a Snaro and a bow you can keep shooting all year long. In a lot of places there are some pretty lengthy small game seasons and most states have “unprotected species” which can be hunted all year long. Where I live I can shoot cottontail rabbits all year long on my own property. I can’t use a firearm by my home but a bow is legal. With a Snaro and a bow I can protect my wifes garden and have fun doing it.
Bowhunting birds for a break
Another way to get some action with your Snaro and a bow is to go to a local preserve and chase some birds. You will probably get some funny looks when you tell them you want to use your bow, but when you start knocking down birds with your 6″ Snaro everyone will be shaking your hand and taking pictures. I go to Birdseye View in Wisconsin 906-221-0783 and either shoot birds there or buy quail, chukar partridge and maybe a few pheasant to take up to the cabin to release and chase.
